Monday Nov 13, 2023
Monday Nov 13, 2023
None of us are promised tomorrow, yet many people live a life of mediocrity. Big dreams are quashed as we navigate adulthood. Staying in our comfort zones is seen as being safe and reliable. Yet, to may people’s disbelief, “we’re better than we think we are and we can do so much more than we think we can.”
In today’s episode Anna welcomes her special guest, Kevin Hall, a highly sought after business consultant, speaker and coach. Kevin counts John C. Maxwell and Stephen R. Covey as his mentors and lives every day with purpose and abundance.
Kevin encourages each of us to embrace our vision of what we want in life. If we all spend just 15 minutes each day reenergizing our souls and taking care of ourselves spiritually and physically, then we will start to see opportunities opening up for us. The world is looking for leaders and we need to be ready.
Listen in as Anna and Kevin discuss the meanings of these 4 principles of living an abundant life:
- Love will always find a way.

Complaining is a Garbage Magnet
Monday Nov 06, 2023
Monday Nov 06, 2023
Why is it so easy to complain? Whether it’s something your boss said to you at work or something your spouse did that makes you crazy, it’s all too easy to complain. But is complaining solving the problem or just making you a gossip?
In today’s episode, Anna explores why we complain and how our complaints usually bring out complaints from the other person. Sometimes we just need to vent – which can feel cathartic – but normally us venting brings about venting from the other person. Soon we’re sitting in a cyclone of complaints and negative feelings without any real solutions in sight.
Listen in as Anna explains:
- How complaining produces a vicious cycle of negativity
- What you give (complaining) you get back (complaining)
- Why it’s easier to have venting sessions instead of difficult conversations with those we complain about
- How these difficult conversations can lead to growth for both people
Resources Mentioned in this Episode:
- Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott
Journal Prompts:
- Why do you complain?
- Do you have a chosen person who listens to your venting?

Harness the Power of Your Inner Mind
Monday Oct 30, 2023
Monday Oct 30, 2023
As an homage to author and speaker Bob Proctor, Anna dives into his teachings about the power of our minds. Bob was living proof that changing your behavior can change your life because he grew up poor and dropped out of school yet he became one of the premier teachers of the Law of Attraction and the power of thoughts.
No matter what your life circumstances right now, YOU have the power to change them. It’s not easy and it will be a test of your patience but there is always some action that you can take that will start to change the course of your life’s path.
One of the most powerful things you can start implementing is choosing your words wisely because we are always listening to what those voices are telling us. As you change your words, naturally your thoughts will begin to change. As your thoughts change, so will your feelings and behavior.
Listen in as Anna explains:
- The difference between the unconscious and conscious minds
- How our inner minds control our behaviors
- Why wishing for change won’t work
- Why having a vision for your life is so important
